Are you an experienced Business Analyst ?
Do you have experience delivering on Software system projects ?
Have you provided commercial software support ?
This is a 12 month fixed term contract role (salaried PAYE, not daily rate) Based from their office in the city centre of Glasgow on a Hybrid basis.
You will developing business processes and designing solutions to meet the business needs whilst also providing system support when needed.
Roles responsibilities include:
- Provide business systems support
- Review, document and enhance business processes
- Lead meetings and workshops
- Provide specification and design, estimation and planning, testing and support
- Manage Projects and workstacks and prioritise accordingly
- Assist in the development of their financial systems by proposing changes based on requirements – gathering and analysis
- Unit and user acceptance testing of software to ensure the solution is correct, fixing errors where they occur
- Key Stakeholder Management and Engagement across Global Business
Required experience:
- Experience with commercial software support and analysis
- Experience of Business Analysis and requirements gathering using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g. Visio, etc.)
- Experience of producing Business Process documentation including process diagrams and supporting documentation
- Experience in writing Functional Requirement Documents
- Involvement in Business Process Redesign
- Experience of change control processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Time management and workload prioritisation
Desirable experience:
- Microsoft SQL scripting
- Previous experience work with financial systems such as Elite 3E
- Experience of working with customisable 3rd party solutions
- Experience working in a team that supports global business critical applications
