Change Digital, the specialist digital recruitment firm, has been created as the global requirement for technology-related roles continues to accelerate.
Part of the Change Recruitment group, the division will connect firms with tech talent, offering a specialism in recruiting for roles across cloud operations, cyber security, digital, and data analytic skill sets.
Building on Change Recruitment’s 50-year history as a leading recruitment consultancy, the creation of Change Digital is a natural progression given the team’s technology expertise which has grown significantly over the past 10 years.
With headquarters in Edinburgh and led by Technology and Digital Director, Andrew Finlayson, Change Digital aims to double in size over the next 18 months in response to increasing demand from clients who look to hire specialist talent across the UK and beyond.
All consultants within Change Digital are educated in their respective specialist technology areas, having completed industry-leading external training, for example in cyber security. This will enable the team to provide unrivalled knowledge of the tech landscape from both a candidate and client perspective.
Andrew Finlayson said: “We’ve been placing top technology talent in permanent and contract roles as part of Change Recruitment for many years. Although we’re announcing Change Digital as its own identity, we hope that our existing clients and candidates recognise this as the next step in our evolution.
“We’re now aiming to place candidates across more sectors and geographies, either by helping existing clients or welcoming new firms here in the UK and across the globe.
“The last 18 months have reimagined not just how we work, but how businesses recruit. We are no longer confined to approaching professionals within specific geographical locations. Remote and home working means that we are now working with a much larger demographic.”
As a dedicated digital recruitment agency, Change Digital plans to continue building an exclusive network of talent across the market to help foster conversations and create opportunities between candidates and firms.
This will be underpinned by deep insight into what matters to candidates with an added emphasis on an organisations purpose and the attraction to companies with strong ethics.
Mark McFall, Managing Director of Change Recruitment, said: “There is a growing need in Scotland, and elsewhere around the world, for specialist recruiters who can engage with all candidate communities. We already have a team of values driven recruitment professionals within Change and Change Digital, and we’re looking forward to growing our team as demand for services continues to increase.
“Businesses of every shape and size recognise the need for innovation. Often that comes in the form of new or enhanced technologies, either to help support their own customer based or to help aid collaboration and productivity.
“However, it’s also paramount for organisations to recognise the importance of their core values and ethics, and we hope to see Change Digital represent even more businesses that have a clear purpose and focus on people.”
